Who can apply ?


  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics or Physics) or Engineering from a non-French university.
  • Candidates may apply during the final year of their Bachelor’s degree course.

NB   You need to submit a proof of having completed a Bachelor’s degree from a non-French university at the time of admission to the programme.

Two-stage admission process

We are committed to selecting university students who have the potential to complete the CentraleSupélec engineering diploma in two years. Our admission process has two stages:


Step 1: Selection of application files: From now until October 27th 2017, register and upload the requested documents.

Step 2: Entrance examinations: By November 3rd 2017, register for your exam.
If your application file is selected by the jury, you will be notified by e-mail within 15 days. You can then register for the exam (written and oral tests).
Depending on your academic background, you will have to take maths/physics/ mechanical engineering/electrical engineering exams.

STEP 1 - Registration to submit your application

All elements of the application must be in either English or French and must be submitted in pdf format:

  • Photocopy of passport or national identity card or equivalent documentation from the candidate’s country of residence;
  • Identity photograph;
  • CV / Résumé;
  • Transcript of grades obtained during Bachelor’s degree, including for the first term of the current year;
  • English or French language certificate (there is no mandatory minimum level, however some indication is required that the candidate is capable of sitting the examination);
  • Official school-leaving diploma (Baccalauréat, Gaokao, A-level, SAT, International Baccalaureate, …);
  • Official results of GRE or Tage Mage standardised tests (optional but recommended);
  • Motivation letter;
  • Letter(s) of recommendation (optional);
  • Online application form, completed and signed.
STEP 2 - Registration for your exam

Register to take the exam in China or in France by November 3rd 2017


Once selected by the jury to take the exam, register for your exam.

Step 2 : Register Online – Candidate details : first name, last name, reference number/ID1, exam centre (order of preference #1 & #2)

Step 3: Pay for your exam – You need to pay the exam fee online with your Visa or Mastercard debit/ credit card.

Very important! Please make sure your name and the reference number generated by the online registration portal are mentioned on the payment order.

Important dates

  • Mid-June – October 27th 2017 – Submit your application file online
  • By November 3rd 2017 – If your file is selected by our jury, register to the written and oral exam online
  • November 20th – 24th – Take the written and oral test in one of our exam centers
  • December 5th 2017 – Award of Excellence Scholarships for outstanding students
  • Beginning of December 2017 – If successful, receive our invitation to join the programme
  • By January 15th 2018 – Confirm your place in the Accelerated Engineering Degree Programme Master’s level
  • September 2018 – Start the study programme in Paris, Metz or Rennes !
